Standard figure is the factory capacity (90 L factory tank). Range assumes 12 L/100 km, typical for a loaded touring 4x4. Towing, sand and corrugations use more fuel. Never run a tank completely dry.

+68 L is about 3.4 jerry cans you no longer carry on the roof.

How the transfer gauge works

Press to pump. It tells you when to stop.

Most Brown Davis transfer auxiliary tanks come with our gauge, switch and buzzer unit. It shows the auxiliary level at all times, and buzzes when the tank is empty so the pump is never left running dry.

Questions

Yes. Every Brown Davis tank comes with the brackets, hoses, fittings and step-by-step instructions. Auxiliary tanks also include the pump or changeover wiring and a gauge.

Replacement tanks use the factory sender, so your gauge keeps working. Auxiliary tanks come with their own gauge.

The vehicle's computer still thinks it has the factory tank size, so the distance-to-empty figure will read low. Use the fuel gauge and your trip meter instead.

No. Our tanks follow the factory lines and keep your ramp-over and departure angles.
